Yet more tags!

Well, as you can see, have been messing about again making more tags. I received my 1 Tilda and 5 Sugar Nellie stamps, last week, so felt the need to use them straight away! The front of the tags are all stamped with my new Colourbox cats eye inkpads and the reverse with more subdued colours of my Adirondak pads. All images are stamped with black stazon and added some home-made embellishments (apart from 2 grungeboard ones) and some pretty gems. Not sure if I am going to add fibres or ribbons yet .......... will have to sit on that for a while and see what inspiration comes!!

Tags for a friend.

I have been very much 'into' tags this week and decided to make these 4 for a friend of mine. Its something I have been promising myself I would do for her for ages and, finally, got around to making them. Hope you like them.

Sunday Stampers Week 5 challenge

This week's theme is Time so, as I am into tags at the moment, used one of my all time favourite stamps from Serendipity. Stamped images, watercoloured them and dabbed on Tim Holtz weathered wood and shabby shutters inkpads. On the reverse I used a stamp from the Artistic Stamper and a verse (from Serendipity) - finished off dabbing with Tim Holtz old paper and vintage photo inkpads. Added some pretty fibres and it was done!

Books for Bee

As a thank you for our lovely weekend with Bee, I made her 2 BIA books. The first theme was 'Beautiful Women' and the second was my first gatefold book 'Housemouse'. The first book I used just about every type of inking matter I had but the Housemouse one, as the stamps are so colourful, decided that all they really needed was watercolouring. Finished them both off with lots of colourful ribbons.

Sunday Stampers Week 4 challenge

This card is not my usual style but as I bought this new stamp on Saturday, thought I would give it a go. Covered card with some shiney white paper and stamped the bird image as the background and then dabbed pastels on in various shades. Stamped bird, and a twig, on a separate piece of card and mounted it on the card with some yellow ribbon and brads. Finished off with some little green gems on the twig.

Sunday Stampers Challenge Week 3

I used bronze metallic backing paper and stamped onto cream mottled card my collage stamps using Tim Holtz distressed ink pad. I ripped the edges and inked them with Old Paper ink pad. I then stamped the impression again and decoupaged the dragonfly, keys and stamp. I embellished the dragonfly with Stickles Icicles.

Week 2 Challenge

This is my first attempt at the Sunday Stampers challenge. Took a plain white card and covered the centre with black and white flowered paper. On top of this I placed a long piece of black hand-made textured paper. The image is from my collection of photo-realistic stamps and was done with black stazon inkpad. Finished off by edging image and card with inkpad.
